High School


Cupeyville School’s High School program is from 7th to 12th grade and fosters Higher Order Thinking, Leadership, Creativity and Citizenship as lasting aptitudes for lifelong learning and a successful future. Our strong College-Preparatory Curriculum emphasizes Analytical Reasoning, Critical Reading, Writing Composition and Mathematical skills. Our highly experienced and dedicated educators use a variety of methodologies such as, Creative and Research Project Presentations, Conferences and Lectures, Field Experiences and Student Directed Activities to enhance the core curriculum. 

High School students can benefit from Advanced Placement courses and the Honors Program to improve their academic acumen. Elective Courses include Physical Education, Art, Library Skills, Character Education, Math Lab, Computer Lab, Current Events, Home Economics, Redacción, Health, STEM Lab, Drama, Foreign Languages (French and Italian), SAT/Writing, and Mosaic Students may also join a wide range of student Organizations, Clubs or Athletic activities to strengthen their leadership skills. Beginning in 9th grade all students must complete 60 hours of Community Service with the benefit of choice as part of the Community Service program. Creative talents are encouraged through Special Events such as, Theater Productions, Spirit Week, Talent Show and Live at the AV.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Students from grades 10 to 12 must complete the following:
  • 3 years of English
  • 3 years of Spanish
  • 3 years of Math: Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus or College Math
  • 3 years of Science, 2 with laboratory (Biology and Chemistry)
  • 3 years of History
  • 70 Hours of Community Service
  • Senior Project Presentation
